sigh... I just have to complain for a minute.
For a couple of weeks, I was thrilled because it felt like I actually hadn't seen rain in awhile. Just when I forgot I lived in Seattle, the "grey" is back again. fog. rain. more rain. I am DYING to get outside and BBQ, go to the park, roll my car windows down, wear flip-flops (and peep toe heels), water the grass, see even the tiniest bit of blue sky....I'm not kidding people. When you look up in sky, you cannot see any sign of sun- just diffused light coming through a dark haze. ha ha, "Lord, grant me the patience to bear the things I cannot change..." I know, I know.
By the way, did anyone else show up to church an hour late last Sunday besides us?? Yup, that was embarrassing. Guess I'll have to highlight "daylight savings time" in my planner next time.

I hear you girl. I have lived on this side of the mountains for ten years now. It took me a good 6 or 7 of those years to remember not to get sucked in by the nice weather that always occurs at the beginning of March! I don't fall for it anymore. Now, I just drink it in and say to myself, "So THIS is what it'll be like in June!" I just try to remember that were it not for all the rain, we wouldn't have such a green place to live!
Here's wishing you some sunshine!
Yup. At 10am I looked at Jons phone and said "why does your phone say it's 11?" (the time we were supposed to be at church) Two phone calls and a very wary look at the calendar later, we rushed out the door and made it a whole 30 minutes late.
We have done that before! But now I am the wiser! Are you guys planning on Powell! I hope so!
I hear ya! I am sooo ready for some sun as well. That's too funny about you showing up late for church. :-)
