So much to tell....
First, a pic that didn't make this year's xmas card, but I like it anyway. :) Random trivia: the little tree behind us is one of the tree seedlings we gave as favors at our wedding.

Thanksgiving:
We had a wonderful ( and yummy! ) Thanksgiving. My brother Derrick and Sis-in-Law Erin stayed with us Tues-Saturday and my mom and dad lived in our driveway (in their motor home). We hadn't seen Erin since my wedding (January 2007!) so a visit was long over due. We did the Seattle Underground tour, and it was just nice having them over.

We had around 25? people at my Grandma's for Thursday's dinner. so much fun!! It was so good to see some of my aunts/uncles/cousins that I don't get to see regularly, and I love the feeling of a full house. Here's my grandma (who turns 80 on the 15th) and all of my aunts and uncles:
Nick smoked a turkey for the first time- and it was so delicious. Poor guy was up all night long checking it though.
You can tell he loved being followed around by a camera documenting his first turkey.
I actually made rolls from scratch for the first time. I was so excited... but then they didn't really turn out. Okay, they totally flopped. My kitchen wasn't warm enough and they didn't rise enough. I was so mad, I made them again the next week, turned my oven on warm and cracked the door so it would be nice and warm... and they were bomb. I just had to prove I could do it. I was so thrilled I made cinnamon rolls from scratch the next day- a new fave of Nick's. Who knew I could? :)

Annual Honeycutt Christmas Party:
I think we had around 25 people this year- a full house, and so much fun. Everyone came dressed in holiday sweaters- made me giggle all night long. Nick and I each made a turkey (to make sure we had lots of leftovers). Nick did one in his smoker, and I roasted one in the oven. They were both delicious! I'm so mad I didn't take pictures of all the good food! Everyone brought something, and we seriously had a feast. The white elephant was very entertaining (as usual). I love love love sharing the holidays with good friends!

The Delta Delta Delta's... I love that so many of us from our pledge class still keep in touch.

Reed and Lindsay making fun of the bump. That's okay though, because I had a good laugh over Reed's lady sweater and turtle neck. :)

I'm so mad Nick's little beverage is covering up the amazing art job I did on his sweatshirt. I couldn't find a holiday sweater for him, so I bought one of the "wildlife series" sweaters from Wal Mart and added a glitter snow cap, bell, and googly eyes. hehe.
Kelsey's due just 2.5 weeks after me. Who would have thought we'd be preggo at the same time? I love that we get to go through it together. I can't wait to meet her little girl!!
Bump:
23 weeks + ... I feel like it is flying by. Can I seriously be just three weeks from my last trimester???! I am getting very round. I always thought it was nice being all legs, but I'm realizing the down side of a very short torso- this kid is shooting straight out. I'm going to have to break down and buy some maternity clothes soon. On the good side, I feel great! (which is such a nice change) He's an active kiddo- kicks all day long, which is fun for me. I'm sure I'll hate it when he's so big he's kicking ribs out, but for now, it's heaven.

Snow!
It was so fun to wake up to a blanket of white this morning. I really miss the snow during winter, so it was a nice treat. Nick and I kept saying "look over there" the whole way home from church today, pointing out all the pretty trees covered in white. Not to mention it was a gorgeous day- so bright and sunny. Cohen's enjoying it too. He runs around like crazy, tossing up the snow and then trying to catch it in his mouth. Last night he was so covered you couldn't even see his little black nose.
My flowers- they're hanging in there:

Cohen will be happy when the baby gets here. I need someone else to dress up (but he does look really cute!):

The view from our front porch. I loooooooooove it.

Time for a cheesy snow picture! :)

Okay, I think that brings us up to date... I'm probably still missing tons. I need to be better about keeping our personal blog updated. It's been a really busy season for the photography business, and I keep letting this one slide. (making mental note to do better) Check out all the cuties I've gotten to photograph lately- khoneycuttgallery.blogspot.com
Anyway, I hope you all find your friends and family in good health and high spirits this season. Merry Christmas!!! I hope to see you over the holidays!
